Jakub Klokan
My story began on September 11, 2008, when I was born late at
night in Most, Czech Republic.
My childhood was quite ordinary.
I attended
4th Elementary School in Most for the first stage of my education.
After fifth grade,
I transferred to the eight-year program at
Podkrušnohorské Gymnázium in Most.
I first encountered badminton in first grade, and
I immediately knew it was what I wanted to pursue.
Badminton Career
From a young age, I loved movement, speed, strength,
explosiveness, and precision — coincidentally, the very qualities
every badminton player needs.
I started playing badminton at the age of 6 at the
Super Stars Most
where I still train under coaches Lukáš Kroc and Veronika
Brožkovcová.
At first, I played just for fun, without
visions or goals. Over time, as I began winning tournaments and
receiving awards, my coaches started telling me I had talent
and a real chance for a successful career. That’s when a goal — and
a dream — was born in my mind: to reach the Olympic stage.
School
Over the years, I attended two schools and studied three
different programs. In 2016, I started first grade
at Václav Talich Elementary School in Most, where
I spent five years before transferring to the eight-year
program at
Podkrušnohorské Gymnázium Most.
Those four years at gymnasium were challenging, very
different from elementary school. But they taught me how
to study effectively, work independently, and meet
deadlines.
After completing compulsory education, I changed my program
to what I study today:
Sports Gymnasium at Podkrušnohorské Gymnázium Most.
After high school, I plan to continue my studies at
university. I haven’t fully decided on a field yet, but it
will likely be related to badminton. We’ll see where life takes me.
Education and Courses
Alongside school, I strive to learn beyond the classroom.
I have completed several courses and training programs that
expanded my knowledge and skills.
A big thank you goes to
the
Super Stars Most
team, who supported my participation in these programs.
- Completion of elementary education with annual honors (Most 2024)
- BWF Shuttle Time Youth Leadership (Bahrain 2024)
- Mental Health Course (Bahrain 2024)

Social Media
In summer 2022, I decided to share my journey and inspire
others with what I do. I started posting videos and updates
from tournaments, training sessions, international trips, and
a glimpse into my personal life.
Social media has become a secondary hobby — time is limited,
but I strive for the best results. I would be very happy
if you start following me on my social channels. I am most
active on
Instagramu. Thank you!
